How do I find you?

Where can I park?
Godshill has a free council run car park opposite the Griffin Pub.

How much is it to get in?
Please see our admission charges page.

What time do you open/close?
Refer to opening times page.

Can I bring my dog in?
Yes as long as it is on a lead & you clear up after it if necessary.

Can we have a picnic in the garden?
Yes, on our designated picnic area. This is the large lawn just past the children's photo area. We would suggest you bring along a blanket to sit on.

Is it wheelchair friendly?
Absolutely, but please look out for the hidden speed cameras so watch your speed on the way round!

Do you have a baby change facility?
Yes this is provided in the disabled loo, which is large enough for a wheelchair or pushchair.

Who owns it?
The Model Village is privately owned by Stuart and Penny Dyer, and has been in the same family since 1969.

Can I buy a season ticket?
Yes, just pay an extra £3 today on top of your ticket price and then you can come back as many times as you like this season. So for example a Family Ticket is £11.50 so just pay £14.50 and your family can come back all season!

How long will it take to walk round?
It usually takes about 45 minutes. This will of course depend on how fast you walk & how much detail you take in. A family with our quiz sheet will take about an hour or so. On a dry day why not stay & have a cup of tea or ice cream and then go round again?

Do you have toilets?
Yes, with disabled and baby change facilities.

Can children go into the Model Village alone?
A responsible adult must always accompany children. This is one rule that we never make exceptions to - we are sure you will understand why.

Can I take photographs?
As many as you like and if you get a good one we'd love to see a copy. Email it to
