This series originated in a painting which we bought which cleverly conveyed the feeling, on a frosty winter morning of stepping through the thin crusty snow shell over the bracken and stems on the bank of the river while the swollen stream gurgles past the bank.

In this tall vase shape you are made aware of the silver brittle air among the thin reeds and branches, the silver leaf breaks up into tiny specks in the blowing process and perfectly conveys the feeling.

Blue flowers

I wish I knew the names of all the flowers I enjoy but I always get it wrong and my wife always knows what they are. but as shakespeare sid a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. The colour though is something else you could do worse than imitate nature
