Seaspray flower vase

We are surrounded by sea on this Island and I am constantly inspired by its moods and movement. The light can change the sea in an instant from lead to silver from azure to battleship grey. This design at its best captures in some small way the briny droplets caught in the sunlight from a small boat pushing through the swell.

As I put up these pieces on the website I feel the urge to invent some other piece about the sea, but it doesn' t happen like that for me. Usually the glass comes first and then the name based on what it evokes.

Another small bud vase the boat shape is not obvious from the photograph but the lip is stretched out producing the canoe or boat shape.
