Eternity Glass Paperweights

It all started

about six years ago, a friend of mine asked me if I could put some of his relatives ashes into a piece of glass, I had talked with some other glassmakers in america about it before but never tried it so I said I would give it a go. The results were beautiful, I have been making memorial pieces alongside the family studio\'s glass ever since. Each piece is unique and considered hand sculpted using traditional glassmaking techniques and tools unchanged for centuries.

Love Hearts

A universal symbol of love, perfect for a love ones memorial.
The ashes make a little core within the center of the heart then a layer of colored glass is added followed by another layer of clear glass. silver leaf, colored glass crystals and cane are fused into the surface and reduced in a flame until iridescent and glistening.

Pink & Gold Sphere

This piece is made mainly with clear glass, with a small amount of ash gently swirling in the center. On the outside layer there is a delicate ribbon of pink glass with gold leaf.
There is room for a small inscription or name and dates etc on the base,The inscription is by hand. This is free of charge and is offered with all Eternity Glass commissions.
