1 Bluebell collared vase

This shape is so difficult to take a good photo of and I must make a better one, suffice it to say that the vase is a lot brighter than it appears.

2 Bluebell Bowl

Most of the time when I make glass the piece arrives before the name but in the case of the bluebell I wanted to make the series and experimented with various ideas. It has evolved in different ways and will again I guess. Its unlikely that I will get close to the beauty of the springtime bluebell woods that gave me the idea.

Bluebell club vase

I thought when I started making glass that the form would be what I was most interested in and then found that colour was more important to me. But of course the colour and the form should be united and very often the application of the colour dictates the shape of the vase.
